NFL Auction is the league’s online merchandise outlet that brings fans closer to the game by allowing them to place bids on authenticated, one-of-a-kind autographed NFL memorabilia straight from the playing field or a marquee event. 

All proceeds from NFL Auction go to the charitable initiatives of the NFL and its 32 teams.  Since 2001, NFL Auction has generated more than $8.5 million in proceeds.  Its 2008 and 2009 earnings showed tremendous growth by reaching a combined total of more than $2.75 million. All funds are directed toward charitable donations and community-based initiatives through NFL Charities. 

It is with funds generated through the sale of this special merchandise that NFL Charities is able to support its NFL Auction grantees each fiscal year.
